Rome, April 10 (LaPresse) – Mark Samson disposed of the body of his ex-girlfriend, Ilaria Sula, with the help of an accomplice—possibly a male family member. Investigators, who are reconstructing the femicide of the 22-year-old university student from Terni, are convinced of this. According to information obtained by LaPresse, after stabbing Ilaria to death in an apartment on Via Homs in the African Quarter of Rome, the killer was allegedly assisted by someone in transporting the victim's body into a car. He then drove it to a roadside area on Monte Guadagnolo, in the municipality of Capranica Prenestina, where he dumped her body into a ravine.
During a forensic inspection conducted yesterday morning in the Via Homs apartment, several items were taken for analysis, including clothing. Other types of forensic evidence were also collected. Mark's mother has been placed under investigation for aiding in the concealment of the body, as she cleaned the crime scene. However, due to her poor health, investigators believe it is unlikely she also helped her son move the body out of the residence.
