Milan, April 12 (LaPresse) – 51.7% of men do not feel aligned with the positions expressed by the contemporary feminist movement, compared to 48.3% who support it. Surprisingly, the youngest group (18-24 years old) is less inclined to join the cause of contemporary feminism (59.1%). This is what emerges from the Eurispes survey "Dimensione Uomo – Men increasingly fragile and disoriented." The sample-based survey was conducted on a probabilistic sample of men residing in Italy, stratified based on the geographical distribution of the population (North-West, North-East, Central, South, and Islands) and age groups, as per the data from the latest Istat Census.
Additionally, 50.5% of men declare that they have never been afraid of their own aggression, while a significant proportion, 35.2%, reports having been afraid at least once or occasionally, indicating a certain awareness of the impact of their behavior. Moreover, a notable minority shows a more complex relationship with their emotional control: 11.5% of the respondents state that they have frequently been afraid of their own aggression, while 2.8% report experiencing it regularly.
