Rome, 16 April (LaPresse) – The judges of the First Assize Court of Rome sentenced to life imprisonment Claudio Campiti, the 59-year-old man who shot and killed Nicoletta Golisano, Sabina Sperandio, Elisabetta Silenzi and Fabiana De Angelis on 11 December 2022 under the gazebo of a bar in Via Monte Giberto in Fidene, during a meeting of the ‘Valle Verde’ real estate consortium in the province of Rieti. Five people were also injured in the shooting. The judges of the First Assize Court of Rome sentenced for the Fidene massacre, in addition to Claudio Campiti, also the former president of the Rome Tsn, Bruno Ardovini, to three months, while Giovanni Maturo, the armoury attendant of the Tor di Quinto Polygon where Campiti hired the gun, was acquitted.
