Naples, Apr 19 (LaPresse) – The Belgian prosecutor's office yesterday revoked the European arrest warrant against Luciana Simeone, secretary of MEP Fulvio Martusciello, issued as part of the investigation into the so-called Huawei case. The revocation had been announced by the Belgian judicial authority in light of the willingness shown by Simeone, defended by lawyers Antimo Giaccio and Claudio Pollio, for an interrogation to be held in Belgium at the end of the month. On Tuesday, 22 April, a hearing is scheduled before the Court of Appeal in Naples, which will take note of the revocation of the European arrest warrant with a simultaneous return to freedom for Simeone, who is currently under house arrest.
