Vatican City (Vatican), April 21 (LaPresse) – The canonization of Carlo Acutis, scheduled for Sunday, April 27, in St. Peter’s Square, has been suspended. "Following the death of His Holiness Pope Francis," reads a statement from the Vatican, "it is communicated that the Eucharistic Celebration and the Rite of Canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis, scheduled for April 27, 2025, the second Sunday of Easter or Divine Mercy Sunday, during the Jubilee of Adolescents, is suspended."
