Naples, April 22 (LaPresse) – The Torre Annunziata Prosecutor’s Office has listed four individuals in the register of suspects over the Monte Faito cable car accident, which resulted in the deaths of four people. The formal notices of investigation were issued to four executives and employees of EAV, the public transport company of the Campania Region that manages the cable car. This is a procedural step to allow the appointment of expert consultants, also in view of the autopsies on the victims’ bodies, which are expected to take place on the morning of Thursday, April 24. The prosecutor has hypothesized the crimes of disaster and manslaughter, in addition to negligent injury concerning a 23-year-old Arab man with an Israeli passport who was injured and remains hospitalized at Naples’ Ospedale del Mare.
