Pope Francis, Parolin: "He sends us his embrace from Heaven"

Vatican City (Vatican), April 27th (LaPresse) – 'Pope Francis was a shining witness of a Church that bends down with tenderness towards those who are wounded and heals them with the balm of mercy; and he reminded us that there can be no peace without recognizing others, without caring for the weakest, and, above all, there can never be peace if we do not learn to forgive each other, using among ourselves the same mercy that God shows towards our lives. Brothers and sisters, precisely on Divine Mercy Sunday, we affectionately remember our beloved Pope Francis. This memory is particularly vivid among the employees and faithful of Vatican City, many of whom are present here, and whom I would like to thank for the service they provide every day. To you, to all of us, to the whole world, Pope Francis sends his embrace from Heaven.' These were the words of Cardinal Pietro Parolin during the second Novendiale for Pope Francis currently taking place in St. Peter's Square.
