Rome, 9 May (LaPresse) – "For Sunday's Angelus, which will take place from the central loggia, we are expecting a large number of people. We cannot yet estimate how many there will be, but it is better to have more volunteers at a small event than fewer volunteers at a larger event. We can think in these terms because we can accommodate up to 4,000 people in Centocelle. Up to 2,000 civil protection volunteers will be ready to take the field: in addition to the 1,500 already planned, we have added about 700 units from the national system and the mobile columns of the regions, while as far as health workers are concerned, we are providing an additional 150-200 operators. We are also increasing the number of ambulances and advanced medical posts'. These were the words of Fabio Ciciliano, head of the National Civil Protection Department, at the end of the operational committee meeting to organise the upcoming events in the Vatican.
