Vatican City (Vatican), 15 May (LaPresse) – First episcopal appointment by Pope Leo XIV. The Pontiff, as announced by the Holy See Press Office, has appointed Father Miguel Ángel Contreras Llajaruna, episcopal vicar for Consecrated Life in the diocese of Callao and Superior of the South American District of the Marist Fathers, as auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Callao (Peru), assigning him the titular see of Babra.
