Naples, May 17 (LaPresse) – Rayan Mdallel, the 15-year-old who had been missing since January 30 after leaving his home in Mondragone (province of Caserta), has been found dead in the province of Turin.
The mayor of Mondragone, Francesco Lavanga, stated: “Our young resident was unfortunately found dead, under circumstances that are still being investigated. I can’t find – and perhaps there are no – words that can ease such an unjust and heartbreaking pain. His young life, cut short too soon and in such distressing circumstances, leaves us all with a deep sense of sorrow and disorientation.
On behalf of the entire community of Mondragone, we express our closeness to the family, friends, and all those who loved him. In the coming days, we will surely dedicate a day of public mourning to Rayan, a time to reflect and especially to pray.”
