Garlasco murder, Parma RIS: Sempio’s fingerprint had no blood

Pavia, May 20 (LaPresse) – The fingerprint attributed today by the Pavia Prosecutor's Office to Andrea Sempio and found on the staircase wall where Chiara Poggi’s body was discovered contained no traces of blood. This is according to the report from the RIS forensic team in Parma, which catalogued trace number 33 at the crime scene.

The trace was tested using both the Combur test and the OBTI (a test for the identification of human blood). The first test yielded a "doubtful" result, while the second, more precise test returned a "negative" result.
