Naples, 23 May (LaPresse) – A primary school teacher in the province of Naples is under investigation for mistreating some of her pupils. The Carabinieri of the Marano operational section have executed an order issued by the investigating magistrate of the Court of Naples North at the request of the Aversa Public Prosecutor's Office, which suspends the woman from public office for a period of twelve months. The investigation, coordinated by the Naples North Public Prosecutor's Office, was launched following complaints from several parents who reported unusual behaviour, fears and anxiety exhibited by their children in relation to the school environment. The unusual behaviour ceased after the children were transferred to another school. Subsequent investigations by the Carabinieri established that the teacher had engaged in harassing and violent behaviour towards pupils in one of the school's classes, including verbal and physical aggression, insults, threats and even beatings. The incidents date back to the period between October and December 2024.
