Milan, 23 May (LaPresse) – Ten years in prison for Milan ultras leader Luca Lucci and his right-hand man Daniele Cataldo. This is the sentence requested by Milan public prosecutor Paolo Storari a few minutes ago to Milan judge Rossana Mongiardo in the fast-track trial at San Siro stadium, which is being held behind closed doors in a bunker courtroom in San Vittore. Four years of probation have also been requested for Lucci and Cataldo. Storari, who coordinated the “Doppia Curva” operation with his colleagues Sara Ombra and Leonardo Lesti, involving the mobile police unit and the finance police, for criminal association (aggravated by mafia facilitation by the Bellocco clan of the 'Bellocco 'ndrangheta clan for the Inter fan section), assault, battery, extortion, resisting arrest, as well as the attempted murder of Enzo Anghinelli in 2019 and the murder of Antonio Bellocco on 4 September 2024 in Cernusco sul Naviglio, has recently completed his sentencing requests for the case involving the Rossoneri. The hearing is currently adjourned and will resume shortly with those concerning organised Inter fans. The clubs are civil parties in the case.
