Milan, May 30 (LaPresse) – “There is too much violence in the world, in our societies. Faced with wars, terrorism, human trafficking, and widespread aggression, children and young people need experiences that educate them in a culture of life, dialogue, and mutual respect. And above all, they need witnesses to a different, nonviolent way of life.”

These were the words of Pope Leo XIV, addressing the movements and associations that gave life to the “Arena of Peace” in Verona.

“When those who have suffered injustice and victims of violence resist the temptation of revenge, they become the most credible protagonists of nonviolent peace-building processes. Nonviolence, as a method and a way of life, must characterize our decisions, our relationships, and our actions,” the Pope added.
