Milan, 9 June (LaPresse) – Little Adam will be admitted to Niguarda Hospital in Milan. Following approval from the Israeli authorities, as announced this morning by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, his arrival is scheduled for Wednesday 11 June. This is according to a statement from the Lombardy Region Welfare Department. ‘We thus confirm, as already indicated to the government,’ explains Regional Councillor Guido Bertolaso, ‘our full willingness to treat these children with a great sense of responsibility.’ According to the statement, several children accompanied by their families are expected to arrive in the Lombardy capital the day after tomorrow from Gaza to be treated in regional facilities. The young patients will be admitted to the Niguarda Hospital in Milan, where little Adam will be treated, and to the Policlinico Hospital, and in Bergamo, to the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital.
