Vatican City, June 16 (LaPresse) – Following the example of Pope Francis, "whose spiritual presence we still feel," comes the exhortation "to care for Creation with justice and peace." These were the words of Pope Leo XIV as he received the bishops of Madagascar in audience. In his speech, Prevost also invited the bishops "not to turn their gaze away from the poor, who are at the heart of the Gospel and the privileged recipients of the Good News. May your ministry during this Jubilee help them to rekindle the horizon of hope," said the Pope, who also gave thanks for their "missionary vitality." Finally, the Pope offered encouragement "to care for priests and religious men and women."
