Rome, 17 June (LaPresse) – A breakthrough has been made in the investigation into the murder of Stefania Camboni in Fregene, in the province of Rome, on 5 May. Today, the Carabinieri of Fregene, together with the Ostia Mobile Operations Unit, carried out a new and decisive inspection in the area between Via Santa Teresa di Gallura and Via Agropoli, which was closed to traffic for the entire day. During the search, conducted on private land, the missing evidence was found: the knife missing from the “Masterchef” knife block, compatible with the wounds inflicted on the victim, a blood-soaked T-shirt and Stefania Camboni's mobile phone. This is a discovery of exceptional investigative importance: the woman's daughter-in-law, Giada Crescenzi, already in prison for voluntary manslaughter, has been charged with her death.
