Parma, June 18 (LaPresse) – Chiara Petrolini, the 21-year-old accused of murder and concealment of the bodies of her two newborn children, must remain under house arrest at her home in Vignale di Traversetolo, in the Parma area, but with the application of an electronic bracelet. This was decided by the Court of Liberty in Bologna. The young woman’s lawyer, Nicola Tria, confirmed the ruling.
The judges partially amended the preliminary investigations judge’s order from Parma to a stricter measure but did not accept the prosecutor’s appeal, which had requested imprisonment.
However, the modification of the measure will not be enforced until the Court of Cassation rules, in case of an appeal by the defense.
