Milan, 2 July. (LaPresse) – The conclusions drawn following the technical investigation requested by the Poggi family from their consultants on fingerprint number 33 ‘prove that the fingerprint is definitely unrelated to the murder, as well as proving that it cannot be attributed to Andrea Sempio’. This was announced by lawyers Gian Luigi Tizzoni and Francesco Compagna, who are defending the family of Chiara Poggi. "In light of the press release issued by the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office on 21 May regarding the attribution to Andrea Sempio of palm print no. 33 found on the third step of the staircase “where Chiara Poggi's body was found” and the previous reporting of the news by TG1 using highly suggestive images – the lawyers declare – the Poggi family has requested its consultants to carry out a specific technical investigation, after obtaining the fingerprint analysis report from the Public Prosecutor. Since the conclusions reached point to the certainty that the fingerprint is unrelated to the murder, as well as to the fact that it cannot be attributed to Andrea Sempio, we have therefore decided, as lawyers for the injured parties, to request a definitive investigation into this matter, to be carried out by means of an incidental inquiry, making the technical and scientific expertise provided by our consultants available to the Public Prosecutor's Office immediately.
