Rome, 4 July (LaPresse) – The provisional toll from this morning's explosion at a LPG gas depot and distribution centre in Via dei Gordiani in Rome is 36 injured. According to LaPresse, 50 people have been evacuated and have not yet returned to their homes, and 36 have been injured, six of whom are in critical condition and two in critical condition: the service station manager and the tanker driver, who suffered burns to 55% and 25% of their bodies, smoke inhalation and barotrauma caused by the shock wave from the air displacement. The less seriously injured were taken to the Vannini, Casilino, Pertini, San Carlo, San Giovanni, Gemelli and Isola Tiberina hospitals.
