Genoa, July 13 (LaPresse) – Little Alain, the five-year-old boy who went missing from Ventimiglia last Friday and kept Italy on edge for 48 hours, was carried back by volunteers to the main square of Latte, where he was welcomed with applause. He was found within about three kilometers from the spot where he disappeared, in a rugged area near a farmhouse along a road leading uphill from a supermarket. That direction had been the focus of search efforts, guided by surveillance footage from the campsite and a witness who had seen the child nearby. An ambulance was on site, but the child appears unharmed and has already reunited with his parents.
