Naples, 18 July (LaPresse) – The magnitude of the earthquake that struck at 9.14 a.m. in the Campi Flegrei area was 4.0, with its epicentre in the sea off Pozzuoli, in the stretch opposite Via Napoli, not far from the border with the Neapolitan district of Bagnoli. The tremor was particularly felt in Naples, in the western districts but also in the centre, as well as in the Phlegraean municipalities of Pozzuoli and Bacoli. The tremor occurred at a depth of 2.5 km. The earthquake was located by the Vesuvius Observatory, the Naples headquarters of the INGV.
