Rome, 18 July (LaPresse) – There may be passionate motives behind the stabbing of a 19-year-old man by a 28-year-old man in Arzano, in the province of Naples. The incident took place in Via Roma, where the 28-year-old came across the victim on the street and, after exchanging a few words, stabbed him in the side. The victim was rescued and taken to Frattamaggiore hospital in critical condition. The Carabinieri of Arzano immediately launched an investigation, collecting CCTV footage and witness statements, which enabled them to identify the attacker, who in the meantime had turned himself in at the police station, confessing to being involved in the stabbing. The man was taken to prison on charges of attempted murder.
