Milan, July 20 (LaPresse) – At Milan Central Station, the railway police arrested two women, a 23-year-old Bosnian citizen and a 28-year-old Croatian woman with previous convictions, for aggravated theft in concert. Officers noticed a heated argument near an elevator involving a group of four women and intervened to understand the reason for the dispute.

At the scene, the police learned that a foreign tourist, recently arrived at Milan Central Station to reach another destination, had been the victim of a wallet theft while in the elevator with her daughter. Having caught the thieves in the act, she started an argument demanding the recovery of the stolen items.

At the railway police station, the victim filed a complaint and shortly after recovered her belongings, which were found by the officers near the train station platforms. Surveillance footage inside the elevator showed that the two women, after positioning themselves in front of the tourists, swiftly opened and stole a wallet from one of their bags before quickly hiding it in their jackets.
