Milan, 23 July (LaPresse) – Giuseppe Marinoni, former president of the Milan Landscape Commission accused of corruption, forgery and inducing others to give or promise benefits, for which the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, with prosecutors Marina Petruzzella, Paolo Filippini, Mauro Clerici and assistant prosecutor Tiziana Siciliano, has requested imprisonment, did not respond to the investigating magistrate's questions, exercising his right to remain silent. Marinoni's lawyer, Eugenio Bono, who presented a brief defence statement explaining the lack of necessity for the precautionary measures requested by the prosecutor, told reporters that “there are no incidents of corruption of any kind, we will clarify our position in the trial. The system outlined by the prosecutor is not the one described in the document you have read, there was no system”.
