He was among the first to understand the importance of teamwork in the fight against organized crime, laying the foundations for the anti-mafia pool. But Chinnici was also a man capable of speaking to young people, of entering schools, of making them understand that legality is a value built every day, together," wrote Chiara Colosimo, president of the Anti-Mafia Commission, on X.
"Forty-two years after his barbaric assassination, his example remains a beacon for those who believe in justice and in the strength of institutions," Colosimo added. "His memory lives on in every courageous choice, in every voice that refuses to remain silent."
