Pesaro, July 30 (LaPresse) – "I’m very satisfied, I answered every question and shared everything I know regarding the charges, and about my work as mayor," said Matteo Ricci, MEP for the Democratic Party and candidate for the presidency of the Marche Region, after five and a half hours of questioning by the financial police in Pesaro. He stepped out of his lawyer Lucio Monaco’s Jeep to speak with journalists. "I reaffirmed my total non-involvement in the matter and, in fact, also provided further information to help uncover the truth," he added, reading a statement. "I thank the magistrates for their work. I’m very calm and determined, and now I’m going back to what I’ve always done — campaigning among the people and for the people."
