Naples, 31 July (LaPresse) – A hiker died after falling ill in Auronzo di Cadore (Belluno), while he was not far from the Auronzo refuge, on the road connecting it to Lavaredo. The 58-year-old man from Aulla (Massa-Carrara), who was with his wife, suddenly collapsed to the ground and several passers-by immediately began CPR until the arrival of the Suem helicopter from Pieve di Cadore. Medical personnel took over from those present, but their attempts were in vain and they could only confirm his death. The Auronzo Finance Police Mountain Rescue Service was also at the scene.
