West Nile: Fourth Victim in Lazio, 93-Year-Old Woman Dies

Milan, August 2 (LaPresse) – A 93-year-old woman has died at Rome’s Spallanzani Hospital due to the West Nile virus. The patient, originally from Cisterna di Latina, was initially admitted to San Paolo Hospital in Velletri before being transferred to the Spallanzani. This is the fourth confirmed death from West Nile virus in the Lazio region, according to a statement from the Lazio Regional Authority.
