Palermo, Aug 4 (LaPresse) – "In light of the information disclosed by several media outlets within just over 48 hours of Simona Cinà’s death, this Prosecutor’s Office deems it necessary to make some clarifications. The young woman’s body was found around 4:00 a.m. by some of the last remaining attendees at the party; it was lifeless at the bottom of the pool, in a distant corner with poor lighting compared to the area where the bar, DJ booth, and restrooms were located." This is stated in a press release from the Termini Imerese Prosecutor’s Office regarding the tragedy in Bagheria in which Simona Cinà died.
"Based on the information gathered so far, after the discovery, at least two young people immediately jumped into the pool and retrieved the 20-year-old's body, performing life-saving resuscitation maneuvers while waiting for emergency responders," the note continues. "Once on site, 118 medical personnel attempted to revive the young woman, but unfortunately in vain, and were only able to pronounce her dead at 5:00 a.m. Upon arrival, first the Carabinieri from the Bagheria station—assisted by personnel from the Monreale Investigative Unit—and later the magistrate on duty conducted the initial investigations. These included photographing the scene, seizing any useful items, and notifying the medical examiner to perform an external examination, after which an autopsy was immediately ordered to determine the cause of death," the statement adds.
