Milan, 4 August (LaPresse) – A 77-year-old man has died at Santa Maria Goretti Hospital in Latina due to West Nile virus. The news was announced by the Lazio Region. The patient, who had been hospitalised in serious condition since 17 July, suffered from pre-existing chronic conditions. This is the fifth death linked to West Nile virus in Lazio.
