Turin, Aug. 6 (LaPresse) – It is “the right and duty of the head of the IDF to express his opinion in the appropriate forums” and then implement any decision taken by Israeli leaders, regardless of his own views, “as has been the case until now.” This is what Defense Minister Israel Katz said on X in what appears to be a response to Yair Netanyahu, son of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the latter accused IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir of being behind a “rebellion and an attempted military coup.”
