West Nile, seventh victim in Lazio

Milan, Aug. 7. (LaPresse) – A 77-year-old man died today at the Isola Tiberina Gemelli Isola Hospital due to the West Nile virus. The patient, who was already undergoing dialysis, had been hospitalized since July 26 and died in the intensive care unit. This is the seventh confirmed death from the West Nile virus in Lazio. The news was announced by the Lazio Region.
