Milan, Aug. 12 (LaPresse) – A father and son died in the Passiria Valley in South Tyrol after falling during a mountain hike yesterday from an altitude of 2,600 meters. The alarm was raised in the evening when they failed to return home. The victims, aged 67 and 25 respectively, were both from San Martino in Passiria. The bodies were found this morning during joint search efforts carried out by the carabinieri, finance police, and mountain rescue teams. The tragedy occurred below the Pixner bivouac.
