Naples, Aug. 21 (LaPresse) – Firefighters are at work responding to bad weather affecting the province of Venice, mainly in the municipalities of Spinea and Mirano. So far, the fire brigades have carried out 15 interventions, mostly for water damage and flooding.
Significant traffic slowdowns have also been reported, mainly due to flooded underpasses. More than 20 firefighters are engaged with five teams on the ground. Considering the ongoing emergency calls, the Venice Fire Department warns that the number of interventions is expected to rise in the coming hours.
