Rome, Aug. 21 (LaPresse) – Since around 2 a.m. last night, fire brigades have carried out over 100 interventions across Rome and its province due to bad weather. Frequent gusts of wind and short but intense showers caused various problems, including uprooted trees, falling branches, and unstable signs—among the most common reports received by the Rome Fire Department operations center.
The areas most affected were in the southeast quadrant of the capital and along the coast from Fregene to Ostia. At present, the situation has returned to normal.
