Naples, 25 August. (LaPresse) – The Rimini Mobile Squad has arrested a 27-year-old San Marino national, in execution of a prison sentence issued in April by the Urbino Public Prosecutor's Office following his final conviction to four years and four months' imprisonment for the crime of aggravated and continued sexual violence against four minors aged between 10 and 11. The investigation, carried out by the Ancona Mobile Squad, concerns events dating back to the summer of 2021, committed in Carpegna (Pesaro-Urbino) during a football camp attended by numerous children, where the 27-year-old was present as an animator. The search for the suspect in the Rimini area gained momentum in the days immediately prior to his capture, as he had posted messages on social media confirming his presence in the province. On Saturday morning, he was caught in Riccione while watching a football match between teams of young athletes and was taken to Rimini prison. The judicial authorities have ordered that, after serving his main sentence in prison, he will be subject to the additional penalty of permanent disqualification from positions in schools and institutions, both public and private, mainly attended by minors, as well as security measures prohibiting him from approaching places frequented by minors, from carrying out work involving contact with minors and from informing the public security authorities of his place of residence and movements for a period of one year.
