Turin, Sept. 2 (LaPresse) – “He fought hard until the end, but he passed away peacefully because he knew he was going to be with Mom.” These were the words of Sveva Fede, speaking about her father Emilio, who died today at the age of 94. “The final period was a beautiful time, during which he followed a meaningful last journey in life,” she told Tg1.
“He had a life, as we all know, full of professional recognition. He dedicated his entire life to his work. As his daughter, my last thought for him is that I’m happy he met my mother (Diana de Feo) and that they loved each other and that their relationship always supported them through the good times, but also the very difficult ones they had to face,” she explained.
“My message to him,” she concluded, “is thank you for teaching us so much — to never give up, to always hold our heads high, just like he always did through all the professional challenges he had to endure, which deeply saddened his life and ours too. But he never gave up — always held his head high.”
