Rome, Sept. 8 (LaPresse) – The situation inside the Lampedusa hotspot is becoming increasingly difficult after recent landings of migrants that saw nearly 700 people arrive on the Sicilian island in just two days. At the Imbriacola facility, there are currently 1,535 people, compared to a capacity of about 400 places. About 200 people are scheduled to be transferred this evening.
