Milan, 11 September (LaPresse) – ‘I want to be clear: that is a space which, in our opinion, and because we have discussed it with potential interested parties, is the best we have today. We have no other spaces, so we will have to think about that.’ This was the response of the Mayor of Milan, Beppe Sala, to the doubts expressed by the Leoncavallo social centre about participating in the tender for the property in Via San Dionigi put up for tender by the Municipality after the eviction in August. ‘I don't listen to words, we'll see what happens. We will submit the request for expressions of interest and see who responds. I have read the statements, I understand that they arise from situations that are not easy to manage, but we will see what happens,’ added Sala, on the sidelines of the 11 September commemoration.
