Thanks to everyone for your affection,” wrote Igor Protti on his Instagram alongside a hospital bed photo. “The fans have once again shown they are the most beautiful part of football – such a large community that, in the important moments, comes together under the same values. You are wonderful,” added the former striker of Bari, Lazio and Livorno.
