Naples, 14 September (LaPresse) – The area around the Palazzo Caracciolo hotel in Via Carbonara in Naples, where the “Falafel and Democracy” conference is being held with former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert as guest, has been cordoned off. After the tensions of recent days, with the City of Naples withdrawing its sponsorship of the event, which also had to find a new venue, this morning around 10 protesters showed up, Palestinian flags in hand, to protest against the former Israeli prime minister.
