Vatican City, Sept. 15 (LaPresse) – The Church, “whose members unfortunately have harmed some of you,” kneels before Mary together with those who have suffered “the injustice and violence of abuse,” said Pope Leo XIV during the Vigil of the Jubilee of Consolation.
“May we all learn from her to care for the smallest and most fragile with tenderness. May we learn to listen to your wounds, to walk together. May we receive from Mary, Mother of Sorrows, the strength to recognize that life is not defined only by the evil suffered, but by the love of God that never abandons us and guides the entire Church,” the Pope added.
