Milan, September 17 (LaPresse) – A 38-year-old man was arrested by the Carabinieri of San Donato Milanese for sexual assault, attempted aggravated robbery, and carrying weapons or objects intended to cause harm. The man allegedly met the 20-year-old victim through social media and arranged a first meeting that ended in sexual violence. The incident occurred a few days earlier near the San Donato Milanese metro terminal, where the woman was threatened with a knife before being assaulted and later subjected to attempted robbery. The Carabinieri quickly launched an investigation, using photographic identification, surveillance footage, and witness testimonies, including the victim’s detailed and consistent account, to identify and apprehend the suspect. The man is currently held at San Vittore prison.
