Naples, September 28 (LaPresse) – The man who handed over an envelope with a bullet to Father Maurizio Patriciello, priest of the Church of San Paolo Apostolo in the Parco Verde of Caivano (Naples), had already been stopped in the past for the same reasons. According to LaPresse, this appears to be the same individual who was detained inside the church by law enforcement in June 2024 after a knife was found sticking out of his pants pocket. On that occasion, the 75-year-old man, father-in-law of a boss from the Ciccarelli-Sautto clan and suffering from psychiatric issues, was reported and an oral warning was issued against him. After today’s incident, the 75-year-old was taken to the police station, and his situation is currently under investigation.
