Milan, 30 September (LaPresse) – "There is satisfaction with the prospect of being able to transform the San Siro area, where there was concern about an uncertain future, so we tried to write a new page and we have only just begun. We have laid the foundations. The mayor told me he was happy." These were the words of Milan's deputy mayor Anna Scavuzzo at the end of the Council vote on the resolution approving the sale of San Siro to Inter and Milan. ‘I hope the majority does not lose ground,’ she continued, ‘even if the transition has been fraught with friction and will not be the first or the last. Everyone will make their own decisions. Now a significant administrative process begins, and it is up to the teams to do their part, which they have done too little of until now.’
