Rome, Oct. 3 (LaPresse) – During the ongoing march in Bologna in support of the Flotilla, the first moments of tension between protesters and law enforcement have been recorded. Activists tried to advance toward the Tangenziale, clashing with officers and throwing various objects. The march of over 15,000 people started at 10:00 a.m. from Piazza Maggiore and reached Via Stalingrado around 1:00 p.m., near the Ponte, just past Via Calzoni, where they encountered a police blockade.

There was an initial attempt to break through the blockade, which was repelled with some shoving. Objects and a few bottles were thrown at the police units. Shortly afterward, the forces allowed the protesters to pass, who are now heading onto the Tangenziale, entering in the opposite direction at exit 7bis.
