Ranucci attack: District Anti-Mafia Directorate investigates

Rome, 17 October (LaPresse) – The Rome District Anti-Mafia Directorate has been entrusted with coordinating the investigation into the attack on journalist Sigfrido Ranucci. In front of his home in Campo Ascolano, a hamlet in the municipality of Pomezia on the outskirts of the capital, an explosive device destroyed two cars: one belonging to the presenter of the programme Report and the other to his daughter. The investigation has been delegated to the Carabinieri of the Frascati Investigation Unit and the Digos of the Rome Police Headquarters. The case file on the bomb attack against the presenter and journalist of Report, Sigfrido Ranucci, is being handled by the deputy prosecutor of the Rome Anti-Mafia Directorate, Carlo Villani. The team investigating the explosion is being coordinated by the chief prosecutor of Rome, Francesco Lo Voi.
