Milan, 7 November (LaPresse) – ‘The Brescia Public Prosecutor's Office, in order to pursue its goal of subjecting me to a defamatory search and punitive seizure and thus exposing me to public ridicule after more than 40 years of an exemplary career, did not hesitate to falsify documents’. This was stated by the former deputy prosecutor of Pavia, Mario Venditti, in a statement released today after the second seizure of computers and telephones ordered by the Brescia Review Court in the investigations in which he is under investigation for corruption in judicial acts and embezzlement. According to Venditti, the seizure order of 8 October 2025, executed the following day, states that “I essentially purchased cars free of charge” or “at below market prices” from the company CR Service, which supplied the Pavia Public Prosecutor's Office with rental cars for investigations and stakeouts. This statement is contradicted by the report of the “finance police” in a briefing already dated “July 2025”. “I hope that those who have the power to oversee the proper exercise of the prosecuting function will reach the necessary conclusions as soon as possible and put an end to this public lynching,” says the retired magistrate, who adds that he must thank his lawyer, Domenico Aiello.
