Milan, Nov. 21 (LaPresse) – All 3 phones, 2 computers, 2 iPads, 2 hard drives, and 2 USB sticks that had been seized from former deputy prosecutor of Pavia, Mario Venditti, have been returned as part of the corruption and embezzlement investigation by the Brescia Prosecutor’s Office related to the Garlasco murder and the ‘Pavia system’. Today, the financial police (GICO) executed the orders from the Brescia Review Court, which had annulled the three seizure orders of the IT material—due to the absence of keywords and an overly broad search period (for Garlasco), and due to a lack of serious indications of corruption (for the Pavia system). The request for return was made by lawyer Domenico Aiello already on Monday, the date of the last annulment, also raising the possibility that a failure to comply could constitute the offence of willful non-execution of a judge’s order.
